My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Prairieside Suites Luxury Bed & Breakfast. I've known about Prairieside for years and have been in love with all their luxurious rooms. The problem is when you have three boys and a very busy life, sometimes you don't always have the luxury of sneaking away childfree. But I finally decided that our 20th wedding anniversary was such an important event that we were going to do whatever it took to get some time away to enjoy one of those beautiful rooms.

It had been a while since I'd stayed at a bed & breakfast. Back in high school on a trip to the East Coast with my parents I had my first stay at a B& B. It was kind of like staying in a spare bedroom  grandma's house, complete with doilies and all. Then back when we'd only been married a few years, we took a trip to San Francisco with friends and they found a great European style B&B for us to stay in that was super reasonably priced. The place was quaint, great location, they served a lovely breakfast. But let me tell you, when you're not feeling great and you have to share a bathroom with an entire floor of strangers, it's not the most enjoyable experience.
